The following are guidelines for registration: Swimmers may be asked to move from one level to another, depending on their swimming skills. (All classes include exercises designed to increase flexibility, strength and aerobic conditioning as well as synchronized swimming skills, which follow the Synchro Ontario Trillium Award programme. All swimmers will have the opportunity to participate in a water show.) Classifications and locations are as follows.

    Junior:

A once-a- week class intended for 6 and 7 year olds with no previous synchronized swimming experience. Participants must be comfortable swimming in deep water and should have passed Red Cross Aquaquest 5 or have equivalent skills.

    Intermediate:

A once-a-week class intended for swimmers aged approximately 8 to 11. Participants will be grouped according to overall swimming skill and previous synchronized swimming experience. Girls in this age group who want a more challenging programme should call the club about our twice-a-week Tier 1 programme.

    Senior:

Intended for older swimmers aged 11 and over, and for younger swimmers who have passed at least Trillium 6 or Aquaquest 11, or the equivalent. This programme is available once a week.
